I’ve been doing this for a while. The market place here is a bit fickle so putting stuff out to a wider audience helps a lot. I also like not having to fuck with shipping. It’s especially nice for international shipping, much cheaper than doing it yourself and you don’t have to mess with the customs forms.

@Matt AH...I thought this was a new policy. I've never sold anything on Ebay...usually I use Grailed if I can't move something here. Grailed is like 13-15% of sales price in fees!!

The wife’s just done a big wardrobe clean out this week, now have 5 choc a block bin liners of stuff to go to the good will, and I get an extra rail in the wardrobe

I don't sell much on eBay, but I probably buy something every other month or so. I usually list and sell clothes on Grailed (fee$) or Poshmark (fee$$$$$) but may step to ebay and try and move a few things. I think I've only ever sold IH items on this forum, always forget about trying to sell IH adjacent items and usually list those on other sites.

I just sold some jackets on eBay. Listing was FREE, but they still took their pound of flesh from my earnings.

@dwaynelum That's how I understood it as well. Upwards of 15%, depending on the item.
