          ^thanks for explaining Giles…

the probation period is 3months, so during that time, the company or the employer can end the contract without any special cause. after passing that time, it isn't that easy anymore...for the company that is!

so happy to be a "real" part of the company now...haven't gotten a raise, but i'll soon be able to parle le francais fluently 😉

Congrats Rafa!.. I was on temp contracts/ probation for two effin years before I got a solid contract… I was part of the very last group of people who got a "lifelong" contract... Everyone who joins now only gets to stay for two years... Wished we had a good union...  I'd say "better" but these fucks don't do anything at all... 😠

Wow, This year has flown by. I need to work less in '14. Congrats Finn.

Ben, probation is pretty standard down in Australia also, and is generally 3 months.

Seul, 2 years due to union F that!

Civil servants always have a probation period. I've had a six month probation period and a two year probation period. Everytime I get promoted, I get another two year probation, which means I've been on probation for the last five years…

I know violence is not the answer, I got it wrong on purpose

I have been considering a minimalist wardrobe for a long time, recently I decided that this was a bullshit concept and too restrictive. I have now modified my thoughts to a "functional" wardrobe and am having much fun drawing up the list of items for it to contain.
