Hey I got these on the ole secondary and they are awesome. They are 25oz 555s and I’m familiar with honeycombs, lap fades, stacking etc. but for the life of me I can not figure out these extremely high contrast fades that exist on the outseam and inseams….. how does this happen???

@roydub87 I think to most people they are referred to as the dreaded white line, but I like them as they remind me of how jeans faded when I was young. I think it comes from not turning the jeans inside out when you wash them and that is the channel that the indigo drains out of. Someone correct if I’m mistaken about this.

For those of you with a lot of Iron heart pieces, how do you remember the model numbers of each item?

This is probably way too nerdy but I have a Google spreadsheet that lists the garment name, model, size, product dimensions, notes for how they fit, and my weight at the time of purchase. Pieces that wear or drape really well I highlight in one color, and ones that don’t in a different color. I reference the document when considering future purchases / listing items for sale, and for general record keeping.

It might be too much but it’s a fun way for me to engage with the hobby.

Almost. The indigo does not drain out of a channel, it gets rubbed off along that fold line in the washing machine or tumble dryer. But jeez, hie must have had next level industrial machines, I have neveer seen anything near that pronounced....

You could host the thing in London (say) where we have a bunch of large stadiums already - or the UK where there are more. I am sure the same is true of lots of places. We don't need to build unnecessary stadiums in rainforest or deserts.

Anyway - next up the knock out rounds!

When you get some new IH gear (or even wear old IH gear) do you spend a lot of time feeling the fabric. I just clocked myself and thought I must look very strange to onlookers constantly feeling the denim on my new 634s.

@will6er haha, I often find myself feeling my jeans. Not so much with the shirts though
