@RobeOfTheMagi Maybe it would help us with suggestions if you list some of the criteria (likes/dislikes) of what your’e looking for.
-
My intention was more like a pooling of ideas of your overall favourites. But you're right @goosehd, here are my criteria:
- Versatility: Can be worn (with some layering) most of the year.
- Fabric: Rugged but comfy, makes me want to wear it all the time.
- Fade Potential: Can and will fade (vintage or high contrast, doesn't matter).
- Length: Rather short or cropped.
- Style: Timeless, nothing fashionable (but that counts for all IG gear I suppose).
PS: The sleeves, especially the forearms, must be quite roomy.

Thank you sweeties!

@ShopatIronHeart Just curious; are there any indigo/black jean releases in the pipeline for the near future? In any fit or weight?
-
@Go-For-Chill 14oz indigo/black in production in all cuts, should be here soon hopefully
-
Same here. If either of those get released in a 1955 it'll be a guaranteed cop for me. I might be talked into a 634 or 888 as well.
-
@Go-For-Chill I think the fans of the 1955 cut would loose their denim minds if that cut ever came out in that denim. I did that when it ,originally, came out in the 555 cut.
-
@Jett129 Agreed. I think it will be a while before we see it, but one can always hope. Maybe the more we talk about it...

Are the Leftys and the Vintage CPO going to drop at the same time?

Why don’t all my pocket linings have print?
I tried searching for the answer but couldn’t find anything. I noticed I have a few pairs that have a label/print on the pocket lining and some don’t. Is there a reason some do and some don’t?
-
@Duffputter Wondered the same thing today. 555 21 doesn't have any. Others I have seen do.
-
@Duffputter a lot of inconsistencies have crept in over the years. Something like this will be due to @Giles not directly specifying it when he made the first run of these jeans (same reason some jeans have flashers, and some do not) as he assumed that details like this would be carried over, but the Japanese followed the spec sheet to the tee. Prints in shirts, for example, Works decided to stop doing to try to keep RRP lower as costs rose, but we asked them to go back to doing it, so some shirts do and some shirts do not. etc etc
