I'm all about showing off my boots so a small hem is important. Considering 555 and 666 as slim fit is my favorite. I'm currently wearing a pair of PBJ 019 that fit and look good but not slim enough. I'm afraid the 888 would be very close to the 019(relaxed taper). I've got several IH shirts that are great and a type 3 jacket. Time for some jeans I can keep...
I didn't lose a ton selling the first pair but it was still a bummer. I have to have them hemmed(34) because nobody near me can do it right. This the no return issue.If you like the fit of the 777 aside from the rise, then the 555 is the logical next step, similar-ish fit through the legs, but much higher rise.

Sorry you feel that way, but this thread is not 'no mans land' it is a thread dedicated to answering questions like yours, which I have just done.

Generally speaking, yes. They are cut to the same pattern. There will be some variance model to model, which is why we publish a specific chart for every model of jeans/shirt etc etc. Did you buy the IH-888S-142 from us directly? If so, we should have a note of the actual waist size of them when new and can work out sizing on other models from that. If not, you'd need to measure your pair now, and we can work out how to go backwards from there..

An actual question, before the conversation drifts...
Would the crew 'hem' the sleeves of a long sleeved shirt, to the typical short sleeved length for a customer?
Need to pick up a summer shirt, and the 10oz work shirt with tonal stitching that's sitting in the outlet is calling me..

@T4920 It's not something we've done before. We're not really setup for full blown garment altering in all honesty. We have the means to shorten bottoms of course but I think once you go down altering sleeves, it becomes a much bigger job

@AdamJ that's understandable, I'd never ask for minor sleeve/cuff length alterations as that's obviously a specialist job for a tailor.
Just thought LS to SS conversion might have been possible as (in my mind at least) it seems like the same process as hemming a pair of trousers, and I doubt it'd be a common request.
You can blame @Kasi for inspiring me with his recent SS denim shirt conversion
