She got a stomach bug during her 23hr layover in Seoul. Ventured off to a shady local food shop for dinner, and the rest is history.

So I know that the SB denim is reactive dyed and not supposed to fade, but does anyone have photos of a well worn pair to see if they do fade at all?
I checked the fits and fades gallery, didn't see anything but I haven't dug very deep yet.
I'm interested in the new 888SB that are in the pipeline (albeit they are a slightly different denim, but same concept), but I'm just curious what to expect.
I would prefer the SBG denim but the 888 cut is really nice so I might grab a pair of these.

My positively ancient 9301s are still super black! I’ve never held them up to a brand new pair, so they may have grayed out a tad, but they look very black, and certainly don’t have any fade pattern from wear like other jeans get.

@Broark There is not a fits and fades gallery, because the reactive dyed superblack does not fade.

                  Figured as much, thanks y’all.
I’ve seen a pair of the reactive dyed black PBJs that did fade (ever, ever so slightly) and I was just wondering if that was the case here as well.
Might have to wait for the 888SBG if that ever happens.  😉

I’ve got the 634S-B so that area is covered for me, but the 888 cut might change my mind.
                      Now if we’re talking 14 oz overdyed…now we’re taking.  😎

@Broark - from my experience, the SB Denim will begin to look kinda faded… then you give is a nice soak and it’s back to Black haha

Adding the @ to the start of a name doesn’t work in Tapatalk, only on the desktop version of the forum. Just one of the myriad ways in which Tapatalk is poo.

As has been said it doesn’t fade, but it does age and can develop patina (or dirt as I like to call it). It looks and feels really nice when it gets beat up.

Thanks MM, PhotoBucket really mucked things up!

yeah photo bucket messed things up a little bit  😞

here are my questions of the moment:

why do the 21 & few other work shirts not have a full sleeve placket like the darkrider and I think all western shirts?

if a 21 type shirt would be revisited that is one of my ridiculous requests for it or if it is done over for the make it better releases.

                                      2nd question:

why not put the item number on the inside care label for people who are into that sort of thing.  recall the los pueblo shirt with the anniversary text on the inside? well do them like that, in the same font as the care instructions (if not will get images in a few hours)? how about doing that for extra special shirts every once in a blue moon?

                                      that's all

                                      head high, middle finger higher
