The late, great Andrew Weatherall had a regular show on NTS radio called “Music’s Not for Everyone.” I always found it really hilariously wise-ass, but also to have a grain of truth.
A lot of us on here can get a bit uberfan when it comes to defending the brand, so I am happy to flash my bias at the door and say that I am indeed chiming in with that perspective. One of the things I love most about Japanese stuff is that idiosyncratic balance between meticulousness and obsession. You might get the most perfect thing you’ve ever owned, but it can also be a real pain in the ass to get it sometimes. Also, I don’t think I’m going out on a limb here to say that it’s more than a bit enjoyable to own something you can’t just pop into the middling retailer down the street and buy. You might have to work harder to get your hands on it, but in my experience, I’ve always found it worthwhile.
So anyway, just wanted to offer my two cents on that and say that I appreciate the work y’all do, and the patience you show from being constantly asked about stock updates (admittedly sometimes by me). And for people who demand reliable delivery schedules, it’s going to be tough for you. I say this with a loving wink — Iron Heart’s not for everyone.

With some of my other hobbies, sometimes the thrill of the "chase/hunt" of actually trying to get something is the most enjoyable experience, as once you get it you end up moving on to the next thing... Although with IH I do tend to appreciate it more when I have it in hand compared to other hobbies such as watches/comics I collect.

@Giles it is good enough for me.
Thank you for taking the time to explain.
I don’t mind the uncertainty on the production time. It is also part of the experience of buying IH.However once it has been shipped you can have a pretty good idea of when it should arrive (minding customs clearance time). This was my point. In this particular case I think the Easter break was the main factor for the last minute uncertainty. I should have taken this in consideration in my comment so I am sorry for this.
You need a good dealer in the Paris area !!!

Assistance needed!
I have a pair of 634’s 21oz in 33 tag. Shall i pick the same size in 634 25oz?
Thanks in advance -
@Chillberg i assume your main concern is the waist? measure your pair the IH way. if this pair fits you well, look for the same dimensions in this pair. it'll shrink with the first wash, but will stretch out with wear to where it was before, maybe a tad more.
-
@Chillberg. I second Tody on this. In my case i take same tag size.
-
@SKT I got my first pair of the 634 cut today too, can't wait to wear them (for once I actually hope summer isn't too warm haha)

Was refreshing the page every five seconds 15 minutes before the drop. Then a job thing forced me off the computer and I was back 15 minutes after the drop and I was afraid that I missed the opportunity, but there they were. Placed an order and can’t wait to get them and try them on.
Is it advised to soak them before I start wearing them?
-
@Chillberg, yes it is advised to give them a hot soak and get some of the shrinkage out. Is it 100% necessary?.probably not but recommended
-
@SKT same, not sure when I’ll get to them. But I’ve got em! lol
-
@yannis thanks! How hot is hot?
