Bitch Please… FAKE Iron Heart?

Can anyone confirm if this was an actual thing? I’m assuming if it was, it was a Japan only release. I’ve seen several Iron Heart x Mac Tools items floating around on eBay and some other sites. As a professional mechanic who owns a lot of Mac Tools, I want this to be a thing

@travisxray As far as I know, somebody has just sewn a patch on a pair of IH.

@goosehd I kind of assumed that but I’ve seen enough of them now that I wondered if it was a thing. I’ve seen jeans, shirts, bibs but like you said, could just be people sewing on a patch.

It could be legit. I was looking at a hickory mechanics shirt with MAC branding a while back. Either way it’s cool especially if you’re into MAC.

I picked up a pair of 888 ducks on ebay a couple months ago that were supposedly from a previous production run (maybe 2022?). I'm not that worried about them being legit, as they have most things seeming legit, and honestly I wouldn't even have a question, except that the pocket bags are black instead of white. Figured maybe I could post here and see if the black pocket bags are expected from a previous run, perhaps?

I semi-drunkenly took my friend down the Iron Heart rabbit hole the other night after he complimented a few pieces I was wearing and said I was always 'so well put together'.

Was explaining the lifetime repairs policy, and he asked 'but how will they know if it's fake or not?' Fair question, but I just smirked and said 'Oh, they'll know!'

I'm pretty sure I've just had a fake pair of 634 delivered from an eBay purchase. Opinions welcome.

In addition to what's in the pics there are no hidden rivets on the back pockets either. EBay pics didn't show the pocket bags or label, otherwise I think I would have twigged prior to purchase. The denim is pretty thick for what it's worth.

@NickD might just be the non-selvedge 21oz which has a lighter weft like in the photos. Can you post a few more of the back pockets, maybe the of the entire pair?

From the photos you have posted, I would say these look like the IH-634

That model did have the blue screen printed IRON HEART on the pocket bag, for eg.

Edit: although I haven't seen a lot number read only 634 without an S or a Z next to it at least. I don't know everything though.
