I can tell you right now @neph93 as I'm still here  :o :o

Althou my style and the way I like shirts to feel leans towards an XL with the 240. I could totally wear a L too for a trim fit, however it is a little on the short side but not unbearable.

Edit: After i've had a moment to think about it, I prefer the sleeves on the L.

@Graham thank you sir! It is as I thought. I quite fancy sizing down and it may work out.

Don’t work too hard now  😉

Would you say the same for the 239?  Does the large fit perfect now, but a wash would make it too small?
I have traditionally worn the XL’s in the UHF’s, but you and Neph are most similar to my size and I want to try to get the right fit the first time.  The numbers look like I am right in the middle of the Large/XL sizing, and I am having difficulty with this UHF.

I appreciate any insight and apologies for muddling the sizing discussion.

@goosehd I’ve gone off western UHF’s as a matter of personal style, but looking at the measurements I’d definitely take an XL. I would happily give it a hot wash to dial in the sleeves. The L western would be too short on me to start with, while I like work shirts short.

Spot on, if in-between, I'd def go for XL and pray to the shrinkage Gods.

                    Thank you gentlemen!

I have quite a few UHF’s and I always double or triple check the numbers on new purchases.  It is great that the measurements are posted early to give me time to work through them.

I appreciate the insights and look forward to the “Cozy Cash”.

BTW guessing these are one-washed? No shrinkage to be expected if washed cold and hung up to dry?

They’ll behave the same as other UHF’s. Little to no shrinkage with careful washing.

Somewhat surprising how the Work Shirts flew off the shelves but the Westerns didn't (yet). Usually it's the other way round.

                                      Early days yet.

This shirt is beautiful, in both patterens. If I was going to hazard a guess, I’d say that the people who like UHF westerns also often like the more colourful, crazy patterns, while work shirt fans just like work shirts? Of course that could just be me trying to fit the stats into a theory.

For my part, I’d love one of the work shirts but I don’t want to blow all my IH tokens (read kroner) before I get to Gosport. It’s a bit painful resisting…

I always prefer work to Western but some patterns only come in Western and are too lovely to let pass by.

I didn't pick this one up because I'm saving up for the mustard and maybe the mocha shirt. Otherwise, this is a classic I'd love to have.

That sounds about right. If I recall, some of the solid color UHF westerns from recent drops didn't do so well, whereas, the colorful/patterned UHF western drops tended to do pretty well (but not always). But, as with all things i'm sure The Stubborn Crew has their own sales numbers and can accurately say whether or not this is the case. I think solid color westerns look better in different fabrics, like corduroy, serge, denim or kersey, but so do the workshirt variants
