@goosehd I’ve gone off western UHF’s as a matter of personal style, but looking at the measurements I’d definitely take an XL. I would happily give it a hot wash to dial in the sleeves. The L western would be too short on me to start with, while I like work shirts short.

Spot on, if in-between, I'd def go for XL and pray to the shrinkage Gods.

It would be a strong candidate for sure  😉

              Thank you gentlemen!

I have quite a few UHF’s and I always double or triple check the numbers on new purchases.  It is great that the measurements are posted early to give me time to work through them.

I appreciate the insights and look forward to the “Cozy Cash”.

BTW guessing these are one-washed? No shrinkage to be expected if washed cold and hung up to dry?

They’ll behave the same as other UHF’s. Little to no shrinkage with careful washing.

Somewhat surprising how the Work Shirts flew off the shelves but the Westerns didn't (yet). Usually it's the other way round.

                                Early days yet.

This shirt is beautiful, in both patterens. If I was going to hazard a guess, I’d say that the people who like UHF westerns also often like the more colourful, crazy patterns, while work shirt fans just like work shirts? Of course that could just be me trying to fit the stats into a theory.

For my part, I’d love one of the work shirts but I don’t want to blow all my IH tokens (read kroner) before I get to Gosport. It’s a bit painful resisting…

I always prefer work to Western but some patterns only come in Western and are too lovely to let pass by.

I didn't pick this one up because I'm saving up for the mustard and maybe the mocha shirt. Otherwise, this is a classic I'd love to have.

                                  Blanket-line all the things!!!

My opinion regarding the workshirts selling faster than the westerns for this one is that the solid flannels just look much better in a workshirt pattern than a western.  I have no idea if this explains it but it's just my personal opinion.  For whatever reason a western flannel just looks better in a crazy/colorful (or even not so crazy/colorful) pattern as opposed to a solid color.

That sounds about right. If I recall, some of the solid color UHF westerns from recent drops didn't do so well, whereas, the colorful/patterned UHF western drops tended to do pretty well (but not always). But, as with all things i'm sure The Stubborn Crew has their own sales numbers and can accurately say whether or not this is the case. I think solid color westerns look better in different fabrics, like corduroy, serge, denim or kersey, but so do the workshirt variants

I think the simple rugged cut suits a solid colour too, although I'm also a huge fan of the work shirts in the other patterns as well, especially, buffalo check, and the classic check. I have a feeling the window pane checks coming later this Autumn are going to be killer in this cut.

Agree 100% on all that.  The white and the blue check UHF's are must haves for me and more than likely in the workshirt cuts.  Although the white western does look cool with the white snaps.  The mustard is such a cool shirt as well but I'm not sure if I'll pull that one off.  I'm half tempted to pick one up regardless and see how it looks on me.
