Just peeped on IG you grabbed it off eBay. Major congrats on finding this gem.

I saw a video by self edge a while ago of some bikers who modified it and added a zipper bc he said the snaps will fly open at high speeds on his bike. Would you consider doing an alteration like that? I do find it interested the snaps route they went on this.

Dude I was just rereading this thread. The quote above eeriely rings true to this day, with a bit of a stretch. I kid you not, after I bought my XL one, I saw an XXL for sale a few days later. Both on eBay. After NEVER seeing one in any size. Two in a few days. Both gone in hours after posting too.

Looked up the second one in 44 sold on eBay. Rather stiff price, but then again, they don't make them anymore. I have a feeling that 44 might have been a tad too small for me anyway...

@Alex I just noticed the underside of the collar felt different when I flipped it up in the rain today. I looked at it and noticed it appeared to be a different denim than 25oz. I checked the inside of the chest pocket flaps and saw the same. It looks like a lightweight denim of some kind. I would assume it is because doubling up with a 2 ply 25oz was too tough to sew? Pics below.

The thickness of the threads is evident in these photos. First is the inner part of the collar vs the upper shoulder. Also the inner pocket flap vs below the pocket. So my question is do you know what type of denim was used? I think this is super rad and makes me like the vest even more. Please correct me of I am wrong but I inspected it closely for a while before I decided to make this post. Hope you're having a good weekend.
