-
@BobSacamano please don’t tell me there was a medium that I could have snagged!
-
@MrJay there was, they had all sizes for a minute or three
-
@dirtyframer ah man! Next time

-
would anyone who owns both a wills and a kristofferson mind commenting on the sizing difference?
i own a wills and the shoulder to shoulder seems a lot smaller in the kristofferson but i’ve also heard people say sizing up was a mistake for them.

Got me a hickory! Those Mr. Lou's are super tempting but fought the urge.
-
Sashiko leftovers maybe later? Though if they drop at 2AM for my timezone then tough luck heh. Anyway probably will try to get a indigo sashiko preorder in.
-
Just snagged the Mr. Lou

@mecken88

🥾 Got em

I have numerous Mr. Lou’s and my experience is that the E width Mr. Lou is equivalent to a standard D width non-Lou. Thus, I always get the E width in the Lou and they fit perfect, whereas I’m normally a D width. I see these SJ Lou’s come only as D width which has me questioning how to size - my standard Lou size or go a half size bigger.
-
In my own experience, you can either size down and go up in width, or take your true size(Brannock) in D width. That is If you have a D width foot with decent instep and overall volume, this is what I do. That said, I generally prefer sizing down a half size and going up one width. Although the length feels a little tighter, the width works better overall.
Some may be able to take down a 1/2 size in the D. width but I would imagine those are lower volume, lower arched feet and maybe D/C width or less.
Edit: Also bear in mind that everybody’s tolerance for fit varies. I cannot deal with something that is super tight from the beginning. I just will not wear it. I would rather adjust sock thickness or use inserts before doing that.
Edit2: sorry for the over explanation
maybe somebody else can make sizing determinations from it -
@northsouthdenimguy oh cool! Looking forward some fit pics

-
@Denimhead-0 dang, nice one!
looking forward seeing them paired with your 666 XHSib

@rewseph I have both jackets in size Large, and the actual shoulder measurement for both is 19" across, so they pretty much fit the same.......I would say you should be ok with your Wills size in the Kristofferson too - well, at least in my experience anyway!
-
Definitely will. I just sold a Viberg that I listed this morning, I need one more boot sale before they show up... trying to do two or three out one in
