Sorry for the airwaves quiet, Friday was filled with routine doctors visits, so just getting back into normalcy!Been enjoying my new blender!
Built block robots with the kiddos Saturday morning
Continued my yard work from the weekend prior
Multiple iced coffee breaks seeing that the weather was in the 70s(f) all weekend!
Made “keto grilled cheese” with cauliflower rice - kinda odd but tasty none the less [emoji23]
Cocktail time…
Made homemade peanut butter
Avery helped me clean up
Sausage balls for breakfast [emoji1642]
Took the kiddos to Alys beach for scooters and park time
Cooked a brisket
Washed the wife’s car
Back at it tomorrow!!!

Week of 01.13.2020
So sorry for the lack of posts - this week has been one of the hardest at my new job, and the kiddos have been hell raisers! Please enjoy this dump of photos as my act of contrition
On Monday I toured a new listing of ours - a massive 7k+ sq ft home sitting on the corner of a dune lake, overlooking the Gulf. It’s outdated and in no way a “hot” property, but I fell in love with its French country charm and no frills presence. In a market where people pay a premium for “turnkey,” this offers an opportunity for someone to experience a wonderful setting and truly outfit it as it’s own.
On Tuesday I toured a very similar property, but in a different league. The emotional connection I had with this property was the most I have had since moving to 30A. If I was $5M richer, this one wouldn’t even hit market in two weeks…
The wife and I are still having fun with making our keto meals. We made creamy pork chops that were to-die for.
I enjoyed the last of my “birthday” mezcal from
December (I turned 32 last month)
I’ve been wearing the lefty as often as possible!
My folks came into town this weekend from Dallas, so we fired up the grill and had a great dinner
Had one of my favorite wines
Rocking my sample 777-142
Finished off with a new tequila - I give it a 6/10
The kids are out of school for the next few days, so hopefully some adventures ensue

Weekend Update 01.17-18.2020
With the parents in town, we decided to show them our new bike route with the kiddos - I always end up pulling the buggy [emoji23]
Went to local BBQ place
<proud parent="" moment="">Grayson, our big twin, has had a hard time with his speech. Our girl Avery used to be domineering in their first pre-school
Class that she “spoke for him,” and we had to separate them. Now that we are in a new school, he’s working with a great group of teachers and a wonderful speech therapist.After lunch, he said “I want to show you something…” so he grabbed my hand, walked me to the ice cream shop across the green, walked up to the counter and said in his still often indecipherable language “hello sir (it was a teenage girl manning the counter haha), I’d like chocolate ice cream please.”
Usually, I would repeat what he said clearly to the staff, but she replied, “cup or cone.”
He was very proud of himself:
Took photos in Rosemary Beach
Came home and put on proper kit
Yesterday, while it was overcast, it was tranquil along the beach, so took everyone for the walk
After the beach, we took the kiddos to Seaside, Florida for a jaunt on the green (this is where they filled The Truman Show

My folks leave today, so back to normal life this afternoon!

After my parents headed out on Sunday, we got back to our routine of cooking and cleaning:
Took the kiddos to the park to get out some energy
Came home and hung out for a bit, but kids wanted to go scootering!
Whipped up a quick dinner
Had a glass of Pinot and called it a day!

01.20-22.2020 Update
For whatever reason, you northeasterners sent your cold weather to the beautiful sunshine state lol
Which called for a little more layering than just the lefty
It’s been an absolutely nut-kicker of a week, so I’ve been sure to stop and enjoy the finer things
Kids all bundled up!
The wife is going out of town tonight, so I got a “me night” away from the twin duties after work
This beer was completely worthless…
This one made up for it!

@AdamC - Oh, my beer consumption has considerably decreased since the wife has changed our eating, so I can relate! It was a treat to order whatever I wanted (more than once lol) - wife is out of town tonight, so a special Christmas beer I’d kept in my cellar is being chilled and will make a siting tonight!
@AdamJ - Being an adopted Southerner, I tend to side with the Ranch dressing as an option with chicken wings - sacrilege for most I know haha

Ranch is far superior with wings (and in all things) than bleh cheese. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
The misspelling wasn’t intentional, but I’m going with it.
