After my parents headed out on Sunday, we got back to our routine of cooking and cleaning:

Took the kiddos to the park to get out some energy

Came home and hung out for a bit, but kids wanted to go scootering!

Whipped up a quick dinner

Had a glass of Pinot and called it a day!

01.20-22.2020 Update

For whatever reason, you northeasterners sent your cold weather to the beautiful sunshine state lol

Which called for a little more layering than just the lefty

It’s been an absolutely nut-kicker of a week, so I’ve been sure to stop and enjoy the finer things

Kids all bundled up!

The wife is going out of town tonight, so I got a “me night” away from the twin duties after work

This beer was completely worthless…

This one made up for it!

@AdamC - Oh, my beer consumption has considerably decreased since the wife has changed our eating, so I can relate! It was a treat to order whatever I wanted (more than once lol) - wife is out of town tonight, so a special Christmas beer I’d kept in my cellar is being chilled and will make a siting tonight!

@AdamJ - Being an adopted Southerner, I tend to side with the Ranch dressing as an option with chicken wings - sacrilege for most I know haha

Ranch is far superior with wings (and in all things) than bleh cheese. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

The misspelling wasn’t intentional, but I’m going with it.

The boss of the house left to go back to mobile for some meetings so the kiddos and I had a movie night:

Build blanket tents for bed:

Friday I got to set direct a whisper campaign video at an incredible property we have coming soon, so had to look fresh [emoji41]

Continued:
Since Friday was Chinese New Year, the kids learned about Chinese culture at school and got starter chop sticks as a treat, so we got Chinese food on the way home for dinner

Yesterday was filled with mom running errands so I built block dinosaurs, make up and did house/yard

When I installed our new kitchen faucet, I had to chop the windowsill over the sink. Finally getting around to filling, sanding and painting the edge:

I’ll sand and paint today (maybe lol)

Made some chicken thighs [emoji123]

Ran to the grocery for pizzas for the kids

Came back made (way too many) cocktails

Late night bike riding in the garage

Kids fought it but finally cashed out 2 hours later than normal, and then woke up 30 minutes earlier than normal so I’m now sitting on the bike at the gym trying to wake up haha

Week of 01.27.2020

The week started off a little rocky… I end up throwing my back out at the gym Sunday, so I spent the day laid up u til I could go to the doctor the next day. Feeling about 80% now, but man, it sucks getting old!

We had a little family movie night, while I sat on a heating pad

Still could dress well!

Kids got haircuts [emoji2163]

Whipped up some dinners this week:

Went out for drinks with a new co-worker yesterday and enjoyed this:

Taking the kiddos to the in-laws tonight so the wife and I can enjoy a weekend with my company’s awards gala - so hopefully should have some fun pictures before I ship the jacket off!
