Yeah that's what I thought but holy beep are their measurements off by a mile and then some. :o Thank you kindly, dear sir, your contributions have once again proven invaluable for denim science and the general public alike. 😎

I'm gonna have a bit of 1 on 1 with their CS and see if I can get them to actually measure a pair for me.

There's really no excuse for a 32" inseam, especially on a size 38.

It seems like they cut them to be a 33 inseam but the denim was too heavy so the bottom seam is 3/4 of an inch wide. This would take up over 2.5 inches when the fold it over 3 times. The inseam is actually a perfect length for me.

If they don't offer to make is right I am going to ask my bank for the money back on these. Also I think I can repair the button with a 3 mm by 10 mm brass Chicago screw. I'll just drill the center of the button out so the post of the screw will fit through the button.

I ordered one pair of N and F years ago. They were shite. Measurements were off. Poor quality IMO. Sorry mike. Maybe send those back.

              Maybe so. Maybe not

I wouldn't say these are shit quality at all. The denim is fucking awesome. Shit happens. I am kind of excited to wear then actually.

I don't think their fit charts were ever really accurate, unless you bought them from a place like BOW who does their own measurements. N&F also operates on a much larger scale, thus, their fit charts will not reflect actual inventory in the same way that IH's fit charts do. Not defending N&F by any means but we've become spoiled with IH measurements and tend to view other denim companies through the IH lens imo.

This is a thing. I’m going to call it “Iron Heart Goggles”. When I shop stuff online for my sons I have to take off my Iron Heart Goggles all the time or I go mental.

Yep. If I'm interested in something from another brand i'll send the shop an email asking them to measure whatever the Iron Heart way. The IH way of measuring should be universal  😃 It certainly takes a lot of the guess work out of buying clothes.

They have offered to repair it. But I am not in town to send them back.

Good luck and keep us informed. I’m genuinely curious if they can fix the button.

^What this man said. I'm curious too.

In related news, in my private correspondence with them they said they measured the tag size 32-33 pairs in order to find a pair with the biggest thigh, but somehow the results are exactly as in the chart on their site; contrast this with Filthy's experience (12.5" in the chart, 13.1" measured) and I don't know what to think. 😞 I want a pair sort of badly but logically thinking, I shouldn't take the risk considering their no returns policy and the fact that after shipping + tax, it could potentially turn out to be a $700+ pair of jeans I could look at but not wear.

Yep, too risky and a very expensive mistake to make if sizing didn't pan out, or if a button popped off like @Filthy

@Crit_Obs my advice is they probably aren't worth it. And to wait for Nobrandeon or Cheese denim to make another 32 oz run. Cheese is a bespoke denim brand… they can make you whatever.

They are definitely using a different method to measure than we are familiar with, if they’re actually measuring at all.

I found their denims stretch  a lot . I'm normally a 33 inch waist in IH and most Japanese brands . However on N&F ones I was a 31 . True to their word , the fudging denims stretched to a 33 or more . Luckily I had a shop that stocks many denim brands N&F being one of them , for a try on first . They carry IH stuff now too .

Found the APC denims to be a similar situation years ago too.

                                        Mirthing my way through life.
