Invariably, the IHUK crew will do their own rendition of the fashion show when the time comes. I posted this video without their awareness and I’m sure it’s a little too early for them to start hyping the next season while this season is still selling out each drop. I hope they aren’t irritated at the early exposure, but I figured if Haraki is posting it, then maybe it’s OK?

We will do a FW21 run-through like we did for FW20 and SS21.  But we will leave it closer to the first FW21 release, so that details will be more at the front of people's minds when we start releasing stuff.

M51 in IH quality. Might become legendary  8).

Is it sampled yet, G.?

Like the outcome @Giles
But where is the sample? Would love to wear it…

Man. That video was great. It was so cool seeing the jackets. I enjoyed the few English words of colors tossed in the the Japanese. Hoping there are more videos to come. Thanks for sharing adam313

I’m not gonna lie @Fadez I’ve watched the home run derby video over and over and it’s colored my perspective now. It’s like they’re playing games with us when Haraki speaks English, like the crack of the bat and all of the sudden he’s got my attention and I’m looking where the ball is going, and then Haraki hits another home run, and he keeps me on the edge of my seat. Imma get the next one!”

I certainly do.

Its an older version as it is quilt lined rather than wool lined. Its seriously beautiful. Black, 7.5oz paraffin coated cotton. Super practical against wind and rain.

Digging up the patio today but will post some more pics up of it later.

@Giles there was a discussion recently of having a Primaloft IHJ-79 with a hood. It must have already been in the works. Is that the main/only difference in the IHJ-102?

The IHJ-102 is a quilted Primaloft jacket with a hood.  We did not see a sample of it as it was not completed when we had to submit orders, so we decided not to order any for the west…Sorry

Couple of pics of the sample for the previous iteration of the IHM-34.

As per previous post, obvious key difference between this sample and the upcoming FW21 design is the fact that my iteration has a quilted lining.

Fabric is a super practical 7.5oz paraffin coated cotton. I would be interested to know if the upcoming version also used the paraffin coated cotton.  Had not experienced this fabric before and I have been thoroughly impressed with it.  It is very wind and water resistant and it has kept me secure from the elements on a number of rugged walks throughout the British weather over the last six months.

One of the things I love most about Iron Heart is the eye of evolution when executing a design.  Unlike repro brands, Haraki-San is never afraid of taking something and (in my opinion at least) making it better.  For example:

• The IH M-65 is so much more well thought out than the RMC version through the introduction of additional pocket configurations. I am lucky enough to own both an IH and an RMC version and if I had to pick, the IH version wins. No contest.

• This version of a fishtail parka dispenses with the epaulettes seen on the M-1951 (huge plus imo) and also introduces two chest pockets, which I have found to be particularly useful in wet weather.

All in all a bloody glorious coat.

Apologies for the shit pics and the fact that haven’t had a haircut for four months!
