Curious, would those be reasonably easy to remove for a wash? I suppose a wash could accelerate patina, but not sure whether I'd hazard it. E.g., I have a shirt with deadstock glass buttons that I just handwash.

Not removable, if they do patina too much for your liking a quick rib with a silver cloth like this:
