Really amazing and tear-jerking....
I think that until today, they thought denim was denim. They don't now.....
We were presenting to the MA students, really the creme de la creme at one of the best , if not the best fashion college in the world. First time a brand has done anything like this.
The lead faculty member said to us afterwards, that even the students who do not enter the competition will be shaped by what they heard/learned today. These guys will be some of the most important brands owners/designers of the next generation. I welled up.......

Really cool!!

@Giles I have no idea what sort of curriculum a fashion school has. Apparently, their exposure to denim is limited. What would typical course work on materials, fabrics, different types of fashion, I.e. streetwear, haute couture, etc look like? Was this a topic of discussion today?

@Giles Nice one !

this is for the future. amazing stuff and I sincerely hope it will inspire generations to come..
-
Very cool. Lucky students hope they do good work

New Lookbook going out with orders now - how will you match your clothes?

Have had it in my hands already, can only say brilliant idea!
-
@Steve This is awesome

@Steve such a great idea, can’t wait to get one.

@Jett129 I normally spend a decent amount of time just looking at the collection before actually doing any design, trying to get a feel of what's in it - sometimes it feels urban, or outdoor, or military etc etc. This one didnt have a specific feel, but what I did get was that while there was a lot of different pieces, they all worked together.
So that was the basis of the idea, I then start scamping ideas on paper or I see will something out and about that triggers an idea.
This idea was triggered seeing a kids mix and match book in a book shop, it was then the idea all linked together.
Then its a case once you get the idea, how to put it together - what model(s) to use, what backdrop, what is the best paper stock (the cover is very heavy, to hold it all together) and how to set up the photoshop file so every photo s roughly in the same position

I really love the lookbook, but unlikely to be making a purchase until S/S 26. Doh! Probably not worth the shipping cost on its own.
