@Autorotate thanks for the encouraging words my man. She is an amazing girl. She’s just hyper fixated on all the wedding details and issues with the planners and flowers and money etc. It’s got her bugging out and irrational as hell, which happens to be my own personal issue of limited patience with over reacting. I’m proud to say I’ve stayed calm through 98% of her 7 day tirade. I’m positive there is a pre-wedding clinical condition that takes place in people (brides) that could be cured with high doses of Thorazine.

@Heavy_blue you’re right bro. She has a touch of the OCD too and that really exacerbates things. It’s going to be off the charts a rad wedding though. Can’t wait to share pics as y’all know some IH is gonna make it into the big day!! Thanks for listening and sharing your encouragement.

@ARNC God has cursed me with a horrible duality. The gift of being able to connect and work with kids on a deep and meaningful level, but also the lack of any desire to be responsible for one on a personal level. Love my students, nieces and nephews. But love my freedom and sanity more.
In the easy chair with my boots on, melted whiskey in my hand. Could'na been asleep for more than three hours...time to go to work again...

The Bridezilla tirade has come to a peaceful end after several arduous days. The Bridezilla was spotted returning to her normal, adorable self. At 7:45 Saturday evening she apologized for her maniacal and ungodly behavior. Calm was restored to the town and all citizens were unharmed physically. Repeat. All systems may return to order.

I love all the support here!! The fact of the matter is my fiancé is a great gal. The reality of the present predicament is she’s losing her mind over the myriad details the last 7 weeks leading up to the wedding. She’s back to baseline now, but understand this is about to be a wild ride to the finish line. Any others experience this leading up to their wedding?

@Mizmazzle i’m engaged so not married yet but we’re settling down on some stuff and in the end i came to the vision that’s HER day. My opinion? Doesn’t mather.. so that’s why you have to enjoy the time BEFORE getting married. No just kidding. Always when you come to the point that you just wanna throw yourself of a bridge remember this question: why did you proposed her? Then al those happy and warm feelings will come back and you’ll tell her: sure baby we’ll fix this. And then the next wave will come in and then you need to ask yourself the same question. Every love story had a beginning. You fell in love, you still love her. You wanna be with her the rest of your days, right? If that’s not what you want.. just say no and RUN!
