Hi does anyone else take random close up photos of denim fades?
Here’s some pics of the triple stitched seams on 805’s breaking down a little so individual fibres are visible.

Not really macro, but for general information, after taking it apart, this leather just soaked up a layer of Saphir in no time.
I have added a second helping to the high stress (folded) areas, and will probably add one more all over covering - it definitely feels better for it.
A little of the dye came off on the cloth (as expected), and I’m thinking it has slightly darkened the look, but the SR needs to get fully absorbed before making judgement there.

Yeah, yokes are typically cut at 90 degrees, to the main panels......
