Is tricotine considered a lighter summer fabric?

The above comment should be read with all the levity your current mental state will allow.

Earlier I was after their indigo polo shirt in size 6, but couldn't find it anywhere. Got a black one in size 6 and man it is perfect. Absolutely the most substantial polo shirt ever. Perfect fit. Armholes are a bit tight but they'll stretch out and I guess a upside with those is that you can show off your guns in the summer while wearing it.

Also I told UES my wish and they actually replied that they told their production team that there is a demand for size 6 in the indigo polo. So maybe next year!! I will definitely buy one. Or two.

All UES today. The mechanic shirt is one of my favorite SSBD. Starting to get a little character fade. The linen denim have been awesome for summer and travel. Enjoying the evo. Surprisingly warm enough when hiking at altitude in windy and wet conditions. I think the weave is fairly tight. But also decently breathable and quick drying in heat and humidity as you would expect from linen.

@68degreesorless very interesting re hiking in cotton linen blends. I purchased the recent IHSH-443-IND from SS26 for this exact purpose! It's good to see such an old, versatile textile still in use in a world enamoured by synthetics. Patiently awaiting a restock of UES' 100% linen t shirts, though I spoke with the owner, Matsumoto-san, in Osaka back in February and he said it's becoming increasingly difficult to find mills that will weave linen in Japan as it is a more demanding and specialised process than cotton.

I'm beginning to think the mills just push back on anything that is a bit unusual that the forum really likes

@futura I have the brown duck shorts. The fabric is very nice and fades and softens pretty quickly. The inseam is a bit too long IMO. I'd like to get them hemmed a couple inches. Withered Fig says they are cut with a low rise, but I find myself wanting to pull them up on my waist higher than I normally wear pants. Maybe that is just b/c of the inseam length. I'm not sure and I haven't measured. Hope they work out well for you.
