@northsouthdenimguy - does this wear true to size? Most concerned about whether you get much stretch in the waist?
-
I had to size up to a 40, they fit me really well. I wore them three days in a row earlier this week and really didn’t notice any stretch. I typically wear 38 in IH except for one pair of 25 ounce XHS which are 36.

They are on the slimmer side for Baker pant but not as slim as an orslow slim fit

-
My fear of those pants is turning everything you sit on blue, have you washed them yet? What is your experience with them getting on everything?

Tricotine deck jacket?? Feels like they are making lots of tricotine these days...

Is tricotine considered a lighter summer fabric?
-
@Go-For-Chill maybe in the arctic north
-
@Go-For-Chill nah its pretty thick but pliable. Like i kind of wear my tricotine "shirt" almost like a shacket....

Earlier I was after their indigo polo shirt in size 6, but couldn't find it anywhere. Got a black one in size 6 and man it is perfect. Absolutely the most substantial polo shirt ever. Perfect fit. Armholes are a bit tight but they'll stretch out and I guess a upside with those is that you can show off your guns in the summer while wearing it.
Also I told UES my wish and they actually replied that they told their production team that there is a demand for size 6 in the indigo polo. So maybe next year!! I will definitely buy one. Or two.

All UES today. The mechanic shirt is one of my favorite SSBD. Starting to get a little character fade. The linen denim have been awesome for summer and travel. Enjoying the evo. Surprisingly warm enough when hiking at altitude in windy and wet conditions. I think the weave is fairly tight. But also decently breathable and quick drying in heat and humidity as you would expect from linen.

Has anyone picked up any ues shorts? Got a pair of duck wabash on the way but keen to know what the actual fit is like
-
@68degreesorless very interesting re hiking in cotton linen blends. I purchased the recent IHSH-443-IND from SS26 for this exact purpose! It's good to see such an old, versatile textile still in use in a world enamoured by synthetics. Patiently awaiting a restock of UES' 100% linen t shirts, though I spoke with the owner, Matsumoto-san, in Osaka back in February and he said it's becoming increasingly difficult to find mills that will weave linen in Japan as it is a more demanding and specialised process than cotton.

I'm beginning to think the mills just push back on anything that is a bit unusual that the forum really likes

@futura I have the brown duck shorts. The fabric is very nice and fades and softens pretty quickly. The inseam is a bit too long IMO. I'd like to get them hemmed a couple inches. Withered Fig says they are cut with a low rise, but I find myself wanting to pull them up on my waist higher than I normally wear pants. Maybe that is just b/c of the inseam length. I'm not sure and I haven't measured. Hope they work out well for you.

Thanks, I suspect the inseam will be a bit longer for me so will probably have then taken up as well as ideally want them falling just above the kneecap

@futura could you fold or roll them up?

Had thought about that but the inner lining goes quite far down, hopefully not long to go till they arrive from bears so I can see if they end up looking like 3 qtr length trousers on me

Couple of pickeups - the first was the wabash shorts, indeed they are a little longer but they are growing on me esp as since my my other ones in rotation are just plain. Sized up in these.
I also got the herringbone double gauze, decent texture and the lightweight enough for summer wear. Went with my usual XL.

@futura been looking at that shirt too, very nice.
