@freepickin
awesome shirt
looks really fantastic!!
How long have you worn it ? -
I didn't keep track, but maybe 3-4 days a week doing landscaping (minus the hot ass summer months) for a little over a year. My usual system is to wear a piece for as long as I can then wash it regularly, maybe every 3 weeks or so. I think the tricotine benefits a lot from frequent washing but thats just me.

The tricotine is out for anyone interested. Ordered via bears tokyo...
-
Anyone seen the Tricotine in Europe yet ?

-
@Daniel-San Redcast still lists them as coming soon, nothing at DC4 or Statement Store yet
No idea who else carries UES in Europe

-
I emailed UES earlier in the week, they will have it both in their online stores and wholesale partners this month. I think they will announce it shortly....i just follow bears tokyo as they offer free delivery and typically show fairly low prices than what i normally see....

@tenuin Rivet & Hide
-
Only a few wears on the Tricotine. Absolutely love this, however, my Black Buck getting most of my wears lately.

-
@Chibs you will not be disappointed with the tricotine. It’s an awesome shirt.

Stuf-f in Düsseldorf Germany also sells UES
-
Rivet and Hide just did their tricotine dropped.
-
@futura thanks for hot tip!
still trying to figure out my size...i'm in between an XL and XXL. Redcast and Rivet&Hide also have different numbers on their respective size charts too.
-
measurements are strange compared to older Statement and Redcast sizing charts

for example chest measurements size 4 to 5 is a difference from 9 cm
crazy
can’t believe this run measures so different to past ones . -
I’ve decided to pick up a 4, I’m a xl in IH work shirts and a 4 in ues flannels.
I hope the tricotine is as good as the ues heavy indigo flannel, this has been my go to for the last couple of months
-
@Daniel-San just saw this too, seems strange but I always find R&H measurements somehow "off".
-
I'm a 3 in my tricotine, XL in my IHSH-33, and Johnny Cash if that's any help to anyone. No UHF to compare to (yet, inbound) but going by measurements I should be an XL in that too.
I have a size 4 in another UES flannel that's much too large for my liking.The size charts may be weird because UES seem to have recently updated their sizing.
-
More data for anyone else needing advice. I’m mostly an IH XL and I have a size 4 tricotine from last year. Very happy with the fit. 6ft, 85kg. Depends on this run’s measurements though of course.

Awwww fuck it!
Usually a L in ironheart stuffs and oredered a Large in the Tricotine from Rivet and Hide. I like that they pay the taxes and free shipping. Hopefully she fits! Way too curious about this shirt to let an other year go by. -
still not convinced i need a tricotine based on what ive seen and read, but to help with sizing, I'm generally an XL in western UHFs, sometimes can go down to a Large, and usually a large in hard faced fabric westerns like the 293 or 33 and have a couple of UES flannels in 3 that fit comparably. The size chart on the Amundsen from R&H, which I got this year from a different vendor, appears spot on to how mine fits. It would make me hesitate on ordering a Size 3 Tricotine personally and also hesitate on a Size 4 with it being too big.
Hope it all works out for you guys! -
@tenuin can i please get your thoughts? I have the heavy ues flannel too, but how does this compare to that? Like is it just different hand feels etc? The heavy flannel is so nice and soft, im guessing the tricotine to be rougher?
