FYI, if anybody is interested somebody is selling a boatload of good stuff(lots of indigo pieces), size 5 and 36 waist(for the most part) on eBay. most of it looks to be new or very lightly worn.

Bought an extra heavy flannel from UES at Mildblend here in Chicago a few months ago, love this thing. I try to wear it as much as my outfits allow, I feel like it fits best with the combo of some boots for that real workwear look, but I’m mostly a sneaker enjoyer.

@Mizmazzle I have done that devilish combination before! Most recent pair of sneakers is a pair of lowtop Shoes Like Pottery which I don’t think would be too strange to pair with the flannel! On more of a “low profile” sneaker kick as of late. Back in my Highschool says I was definitely more of a big shoe guy (à la Air Force 1s)

@hello_4lex I don't wear sneakers that much once it cools down but I think flannels work great with anything that quotes the Converse chuck 70 style

just bought a pair of UES boot socks and I’m very happy with them. Very well made and what’s most important, they stay up
they are a little thicker which is perfect for the upcoming cold season 🥶.

Ordered these on sale and another 25% off from iron shop provisions this morning. kind of wonky sizing had to order a 40. Really close to what a 36 IH measures, I normally take a 36 or 38 depending on the measurements. Anybody have these little/ insight they look pretty cool…

@northsouthdenimguy yep, I’ve got a pair. The fit is a little looser through the hip and leg than 634, and perhaps a touch lower rise. I found the sizing the same as IH - I’m a 32 in both brands, but I have noticed some UES jeans measure much smaller in the waist even though they’re the same size and model as ones I already have.

Yeah, it’s just a little weird. The waist sizes are very close from 34 on up. Had to go to a 40 just to get 18+ which is my minimum. Maybe a little tight at first, prefer 18.5 minimum. The rise is similar to 666 which is my go to other than one pair of 1955(slubby).
