Im usually not a brown leather kind of guy but for $20, I didn’t mind grabbing a pair. I’ve always found these boots dope, Jim Green x Rose Anvil Barefoot African Trooper boots. Someone who lived 20 minutes away from me threw them on Facebook marketplace for $15. I lowkey felt bad and gave him $20 bc these boots are in really good shape. The bottom tread literally looks new.

I wore them today and they’re pretty comfortable. I love the feel of them but they really don’t look appealing haha. I have a slimmer build and the super wide toe cap kinda throws me off. Considering keeping because.. I mean it was $20 and the comfort is there - but more than likely will dye them if I do. I wear a lot of black so I know keeping them brown would keep them on the shelf.

A little too funky for my taste, I actually gave them away on the Stitchdown premium Discord. I believe he’s going to wear them for this year’s dome.

I will say they were super comfortable, trying them on, never wore them anywhere

@Mizmazzle I just pulled the trigger on the 310 Chocolate Chamois from Withered Fig. I ordered them with the idea that if I don't absolutely like em, I'll send them back. I'm just trying them on. lol

Picked up a pair of Thursday(diplomat) boots 2 days ago. Wore half day yesterday and changed sneakers mid shift. Today rocked them all day and feet are fine. Super easy break in period, pretty great boot imo and nice price.

@Mizmazzle No toe cap, Dainite outsole. I went with the same size as the 2045 as suggested to me. The 2045 is a bit roomy at the ankle but I can take up that space if I run the laces around the ankle. I heard that the 310 facings are more proportionate.

@j6550 yup! I feel the ankle is a bit narrower on the 310 and opens up as it moves into the toe box. I have a D width foot and find it very comfortable. Though I think wider feet will truly reap the benefits.

@Mizmazzle I got them and they were too big unfortunately. The boot didn't grip the sides of my foot, and my toe felt kinda far from the toe. I even laced up one foot just to see if the fit would change and it didn't. I even double checked the size and it's the same as the 2045. I just dropped them off at UPS and started the exchange. I do have to say that the Chocolate Chamois is very nice and oily.

I’m always a full size down from Brannock in all my Vibergs. Not sure if you find that to be the case as well…
