I've been doing some challenging archival research that's brought me in contact with other disciplined researchers and archivists across continents. Just in our limited exchanges, and in addition to all the data, I've been able to share in some of their passion, and them in mine. Amidst all the decay, there is still some wonder at all the Internet makes possible.

I left my Time Square hotel this morning at 4:30am going from one meeting to another. I arrived at LaGuardia airport to find out that my flight had been delayed 3 hours, but also that I was supposed to be at JFK (30 minutes away). I've never been more thankful for a delayed flight in all my life.

Willing to buy a couple rounds (if they drink) to whoever wrote the copy for the Big Buck in the recent email. I’m not in the market nor that interested in owning that shirt until I read that description. If anyone going forward questions me about “why IH”, I’d point them to that write-up.
