          Yes, me 14 yrs first time in England and I had never seen such (artificially) green peas before.

            @Giles If you look closely, you can see that one of peas has two fingers up and the other three down.

                        We get three kinds of fresh peas here in Northern California: snow peas, snap peas and shelling peas - known colloquially as English peas. I believe these are the type used for your mushy peas or peas and carrots.
                        For some reason unbeknownst to me, English peas have the shortest growing season here. They’re usually only available in the early Spring. Anyway, I like ‘em.

                                            @Chibs they are very delicious! Good rice helps a lot. I use my hands to mold them since I like mines sumo-size and I’m just lazy and would rather not have much items to wash afterwards.
