Louisville Kentucky custom for US customers

For those of us in the US, how often does your order get tied up at this location?

This is my first time ordering directly from iron heart and my order seems to be stuck at this location and there seems to be no movement. Just the repeated import scan every night and one instance of your package arrived at import without prior notification. UPS is working to resolve this issue.

This seems to a common occurrence with just a quick search on the internet.

Just wondering if maybe I need to rethink where I order from if something like this happens the majority of the time with these orders.

I know this really has nothing to do with iron heart but is still frustrating is all.

We ship over 10 thousand packages to the USA a year, and I would say that I could count on two hands the number that end up needing a tracer from UPS, as they have lost the package.

FWIW, I'm having the same experience with my UHR right now. I havent gotten worried enough to reach out to IHUK yet, but to your question, this has never happened to me before across 20+ orders. Definitely not a typical occurrence.

@Alex yes Alex I did contact support and even though it shows as being delivered by end of day, I am sure that is not the case as the last update to tracking was import scan in Louisville Kentucky. This is the same update that occurs every night for the past several days.

I will give it some time and this seems to not be the norm with shipping to the US which is nice to understand. I guess I just drew the short end of the stick

My package is also being held up at the Louisville, KY location. Something is happening at that particular location. I'm about to email you guys about it. Just wanted to say I think it is an issue with that particular UPS location with imported packages.

Louisville, KY is the main UPS terminal and distribution hub for all incoming international packages in the US. It could be that they have a backlog due to any number of reasons. Recent holiday, tariff changes, influx of packages, etc.

@goosehd Yeah, I have read this online as well. Apparently some folks are experiences extended delays, like weeks or more, for international packages that arrive in Louisville. Mine was supposed to arrive last Friday.

I had a package sit at the local UPS terminal for almost a week due to weather related issues. I just chalk it up to IWHWIH (It will happen when it happens).

The Louisville track, is typically a virtual update. The customs information gets sent to Louisville electronically so that it can be processed before the physical arrival of the package.
