I'm trying to play it cool right now, but this shirt is BONKERS. As others have said, this hide provides such a unique wear experience. The shirt runs a bit long (no surprise) and heavier than I expected (great surprise), yet it remains incredibly supple and easy to move in. Very special.

It's really cool to see some of the OG pieces in this thread. I'm a newbie but like @68degreesorless, my first IH was 633 21oz from Self Edge. Amazing denim that's into the "sweatpants soft" phase for me. The day I went to buy the jeans, I lucked out that SE had this flannel (IHSH-411) in my size as well.

Day 2: 20oz paraffin coated duck, ready for the beach (but seriously, sharks can't bite through this)

Hi everyone. I'm new to IH (a colleague pointed me towards the brand in March) but I've already spent an embarrassing amount of time (and $$$) delving down the rabbit hole. There's not much I can say about IH that hasn't already been said, but it's worth mentioning that this forum is AWESOME. What an incredible resource! Thanks to everyone who makes this place what it is.

A bit about me: I live in Houston, TX (not a very IH-friendly climate unfortunately, but thank goodness for air conditioning). My main hobby is parkour, which I've been dabbling in for nearly 2 decades. One of my favorite parkour movements is a "kong" vault to a "precision" landing - typically abbreviated as a "kong-precision", which hopefully explains my username. Now that I've been indoctrinated into denimland, I am finding myself curious as to what parkour fades might look like...

For those thinking about the 25oz, I bought a pair in Japan (just got back the U.S.). They are super nice - definitely heavy, but more compliant and less stiff than XHS right out of the gate. The denim has a touch of slub to it and the gold Selvedge ID / buttons are badass. Super blingy, but most people will never know.

I picked up this absolute beauty of a jacket from the Osaka store: Indigo horsehide in a 60's work jacket cut. July in Texas is not quite leather jacket weather, but I'm not patient enough to wait for cooler temps.

Wife took this before dinner on Friday (it was fancy, hence the dress shoes). Worn with 634S-142ib-c. I can't offer much in the way of comparison as this is my first Fox Brothers shirt, but it is insanely good. Snug in the forearms, but I like the trim fit in the torso.

@phoenixinflight I stumbled on the 25oz at Americaya 610 in Ueno (Tokyo) nearly 3 weeks ago. Lucky for me, they happened to have great stock in every size and it was an easy purchase. I also made it to the Osaka flagship about a week later (amazing store) and noticed that the most popular sizes were already gone by that point.

@cyclops @warriors22 In terms of fit, these are definitely closest to a 634 cut (which is my go-to IH cut). It's advertised as a "regular straight" and it feels true to that. My pair is definitely roomier in the top block than 666.

In case it's helpful, my IH sizing is 50/50 between 32 and 33 (depending on luck of the measurements). I tried both sizes with the Samurai and went with 33 - the 32 was technically possible to get into but it was crazy tight on my waist and I'm not that aggressive with my fits haha.

@warriors22 I don't believe these are raw. I'm not 100% sure if they are washed or sanforized or both (I dont speak Japanese so there was a bit of a language barrier), but the guy conveyed to me that they shouldn't shrink much.

@hugothecowboy I went with Medium (my typical IH size) - I considered sizing down, but I was able to try this on in-store and I'm very happy with it. Still works with a t-shirt if needed.

@68degreesorless Your photos in this thread are excellent - I'm totally sold on this color now. Just have to decide whether or not to pimp with copper.

@sabergirl I just measured the opening at 20.6 (same as the waist). For avoidance of doubt, I used the IH method at the top of the side seam gussets.

@j3butch1 I went with my normal IH size for the black version - I'm almost always a M (with the occasional S or L sprinkled in depending on the model). I'd say this shirt fits pretty close to the middle of my size M CPOs. I took some quick measurements (inches):

Shoulder: 18.1
Chest: 21.5
Waist: 20.6
Length: 29.0
Sleeve: 26.0

I didnt try on the indigo, so can't comment on sizing there.

It was initially crispier than I expected, but it's starting to soften after just a couple of wears.
