@Denimhead-0 no yellow on the horizontals.....that's what I can see. awesome shirt.

got mine today, fits perfect, love it!

That’s interesting. I hadn’t noticed that but I didn’t look as I’d assumed it was the same pattern.

Lol, it looks great on you! So excited to get mine at some point next week. Could have just taken a drive to Dutil but didn’t realize they had stock and ordered from Calgary 😅. It’s fine. Hah. This is the summer of flannel!!

I really think you’ll be set with this one and the purple🔥. Both would look great with ducks or olive green.

Just received my small from the IHUK crew and couldn’t be happier. The holographic effect of the check in person is really something. Once more of the macro pics came out I definitely had to jump on this. Really handsome shade of blue. And I love my 12oz western shirt but the work shirt cut is perfect, I think I’m solidly in this camp for flannels.

I found this to be an interesting comparison. Wife has yet to notice they are two different shirts lol

The sleeves on these are SHORT! That's not usually a measurement I pay much attention to, but I didn't realize it would be a whole 1.5" shorter than the FW25-26 UHF releases. Working on an exchange to see if the Orange one is longer like the size chart shows.

Well worn denim & leather is a journal of life.

I’ve yet to lay handle on an uhf but the 9 oz does feel summerable because it’s not brushed. Much better than my flat head brushed flannels. It’s certainly not going to behave like a 5oz cotton or linen shirt, but it does breathe well

@sonsw87 it certainly depends on how hot your summers get and our individual preference. i would call this a spring weight, as the 9oz is still quite substantial.

Great shirt and my first work shirt. Must say the fit is as good as it gets for me. 99.9% spot on. Not keen on the buttons though as someone else mentioned. Feel cheap compared to Freenotes. Definitely not a summer shirt unless you live in Ireland but a great spring, fall and winter one!

@Gavin666 agree on all points, great fit and cut. Part of why I gravitate toward heritage Japanese brands is the fit. For me being tall and slim, just about every American brand is not compatible (tbd on Freenote shirting). There are many other heritage brands with far worse buttoning, but I do think for the price, a more “premium” button may be warranted. The western snaps are very nice, I’m not sure if they are true mother of pearl but that would be cool if they could do it. Freenote does just hit it out of the park on many points but every brand has their quirks. Freenote doesn’t do hidden rivets for example, to me that’s a bummer
