IHSH-443-IND - 7oz Cotton Linen Chambray Work Shirt - Indigo
-
This shirt came out Wednesday, and it’s “sister” only about a week before that. As I understand this particular combination of cotton and linen is new - so the user experience with washing is limited.
That said, my experience with IH products in general is that if they are pre washed - like this shirt - they do not shrink if washed according to instructions.
You do need to be vary of your washing machine, though. They don’t all have very precise temperature control.

Bringing several whiskey and Cokes to my mouth actually helps the creasing along a bit

@northsouthdenimguy yeah buddy!!!
-
Oh wow mad creases on your sleeves @Oaktavia ! Reminds me of an accordion.
-
@RoxRocks86 for real reminds me of a bandana that got smushed in a pocket folds everywhere.
-
I’m usually not fond of work shirts but dang you guys make this look amazing. Thank God it’s sold out everywhere lol.

Hi everyone, what a lovely, fresh shirt for summer. Looking at the size chart and the sizes worn by the staff, it seems like this style runs a bit large and that the sizes are large. From the size chart, I've noticed a generally narrow-shouldered cut with a proportionally broader chest. Is it better to size based on the shoulders or the chest?
-
@MicheleOnida It depends, too small in the chest and perfect fit in the shoulders and you can wear the shirt unbuttoned. Too tight in the shoulders and it can affect mobility.
It comes down to how small it is and how you’re going to wear it. With it being cotton linen, there should be some give which would be easier to get out of the shoulders.

These pics are glorious, looking forward to seeing all the progression!
-
Hi, just got the shirt, it is awesome
The care guidelines has this: "We recommend washing this garment at 30°C with a low (or no) spin cycle. Hang dry, do not tumble dry". I wonder is this "no spin cycle" there to avoid marbling? -

Told myself no shirts this year. But eff that. This one was too good to pass up & it’s lightweight. I’m more of a western shirt gal bc of the cut & prefer button snaps, but couldn’t pass up on the clean stealth look of the work shirt.

@RoxRocks86 glad you decided differently. Great style and fit Rox

@RoxRocks86 hell yeah!

Loving this one for these warmer days. We’ve still got a healthy amount of stock of anyone who may have missed out.

@ShopatIronHeart or anyone else; any input on if this wears cooler or is more breathable compared to the IHSH-96?
-
Wearing mine for the first time today and this thing is pretty crunchy but airy, I love it. Especially compared to the older 5oz 60/40 chambray. Didn't think the extra 2oz would be that different but definitely a completely different hand feel between the two. Glad I grabbed this, gonna be a spring staple for me. Curious to see how it wears once we start getting up into the 90's though.
-
@pechelman I would say that the 433 is going to be a cooler and more breathable wear. Also might feel better on the skin in warmer climates as its has a lot less texture.
I hope this helps!

Initially I thought that I was between two sizes but on release day re measured a shirt that fit me well, the only measurements tht didn’t align with the S were the sleeves. Set a reminder for the drop and pre wrote a note to the IH crew to request longer sleeve. It dropped at 16:00; 16:03 order completed.
Many thanks to @Freeman for finding this one and confirming measurements with me before sending.
First wear today in the office. Respectably tucked in this morning with a more relaxed vibe in the afternoon.
Really appreciate the service once again and really happy with the fit.
