IH-747-GRN - 8oz Ripstop Baker Pants - Army Green
-
@newtoiron they are all sraight-ish cuts. Once production runs come, sizing charts will be published
-
@newtoiron As Alex mentioned, they are similar(ish) cuts, and we'll be able to provide an accurate comparision once the production runs are measured.
Based on the sample models, though, the wide pants have the highest rise and are the most relaxed through the leg profile. In my opinion, the bakers offer the leanest appearance, as they don't feature the hammer loop/extra pockets found on the painters pants.
The screenshot below might help for comparison, from L to R: Painters, Bakers, Wides.

@SamD Fantastic shot Sam, thank you!

Oh no! You are doing the bakers in different releases.... Gonna be like poker deciding to stick or twist: I want the sateen but would probably by happy with these?!
Are they all the same cut?
-
@AdamJ Thanks! I was just out with my kids ruler on the preview pictures! Hopefully same cut == similar measurements when the time comes
-
Can you compare the greens between these and the olive IH Chinos? Slim tapered. @ShopatIronHeart
Thanks either way -
@CosmoSix5 yeah man no problem, we'll get a side by side tomorrow

-
@ShopatIronHeart is there any stretch expected in the waist with ripstop? Also, is this more breathable than back sateen?
-
Other question I am affraid, will the product page be updated with more detailed pictures?
-
@tvaillant75 yep, they are being shot as we speak. We didn't get a pre-production sample for these, so there is just the mockup online atm. I'll update when ready

@CosmoSix5 Here are a couple of comparison shots between the 9oz chino and 8oz ripstop as requested. As you can see, the baker pants are quite a bit darker — but what might not come across in the photos is that the olive chino has a far shinier finish in comparison to the ripstop. Hope that helps!
