16oz Vintage Selvedge Denim
We felt that a lighter denim would be a good fit for a wide-leg jeans cut. Haraki had just developed a new 16 oz denim, which was featured in a CPO shirt and a denim jacket in the AW 25 collection. He offered us this denim exclusively for our jeans. Brilliant! A new cut in a new denim. We really like this denim, and we think it's a great choice for this cut.
Iron Heart produces this vintage-style denim in collaboration with the centuries-old Takata Orimono mill in Kojima. The denim is woven from ring-spun Pima cotton yarns, resulting in an uneven denim with a lot of texture. The denim has a great texture, stays dark for a long time, and only develops its character over time and with intensive wear. However, you cannot develop such strong fades as with tight jeans with thicker denims, as the denim fits loosely on the body. 16 oz. is a perfect denim for year-round wear and ideal for the new wide and relaxed fit. Iron Heart Germany offers this denim exclusively in the new cut!

@Shane-B This is cool! I was convinced the meaning behind the number was something like it being based on the 634 frame, but swapping out the 3 with an 8 because you're in Hamburg and H is the 8th letter of the alphabet... Something like that
Probably just reading into things too much lolLove the new cut. If my 634s ever wear out, I'll likely give these a shot! Glad to see Haraki willingly taking design cues from someone. I learned in the podcast early on that it's not exactly his favorite thing to do, so that's a real honor for you man!

The release is scheduled for March, but the exact date is not yet clear.
