@sabergirl that's exactly what I was thinking, yup. Someone else mentioned that too, I forget who.

Aesthetically, I like how the cuffs from the 21oz CPO stick out further from the chore coat when layering. Blue and brown FTW.

Anybody had luck breaking in this bronco and getting it to settle down? Tried it on today and ooof, it’s unforgiving. Didn’t get much chance to wear it last season.

@gneicher mine is still molded to my body hanging in my closet since early spring. It looks like I just took it off. I ended up taking the snappies out like @Tom-Longarms did to make them (sleeves) longer. This created some small holes so I made some minor repairs and put a couple patches over the holes. I'll take pics and share.

Edit: sorry, was referring to the cuffs and the arm length:

                1000123466.jpg 1000123468.jpg 287c310d-a9cd-4695-9464-e17f28e0fcfe-1_all_18184.jpg 1000123472.jpg 1000123473.jpg 1000123474.jpg 1000123475.jpg 287c310d-a9cd-4695-9464-e17f28e0fcfe-1_all_18196.jpg 1000123478.jpg 1000123479.jpg
                1000123483.jpg 1000123484.jpg

I understand that now the taping from the inside is now on the outside. With that said, I am happy the length of the sleeves are longer as they looked comically short on me, as they did with Tom's. So I am glad I did this. I do not recommend others taking on this endeavor unless you are fully aware you are essentially destroying part of the jacket and it will need to be repaired. So these are not instructions as much as they are a warning.

Anyway, I am excited to wear this again when the temps cool down. As you can see, it looks almost like a jungle on the property. Paw paw trees freaking everywhere.

@gneicher I'm looking forward to the season changing to get mine back on. I wore it as much as I could last year, and it did soften up a lot in the arms. The body can still stand up on its own. I eventually got to the point I could easily button it up, which helped with softening the fabric to the point it started to drape better.

I would recommend wearing as much as you can. It'll definitely get better with age.

After loving all the photos @Oaktavia has posted I was inspired to try and track one of these down (somehow I totally missing the original release!) and I recently managed to pick up a brand new one in a size large.
I think a medium probably would have been my ideal fit to be honest, as It is fine when buttoned up and just a bit baggy at the back when un buttoned. But as chore jackets tend to be a bit looser/oversized I think I can just about get away with it, plus it works well for layering. - but it is such a great jacket, I love it and so I think I can just overlook any size issues and just wear it in a looser fitting style

I think M would have been too small. And with wear (probably lots of), it will drape better...

@Darth-fader Looks great! Chore coats are a bit looser fitting to allow for easy movement and layering.
