SEXIH25-CPO - Self Edge x Iron Heart 19oz Denim CPO Shirt
-
@Ral1121 interested to hear your thoughts as I wanted to but but the XL fits but the sleeves are short and the XXL will fit if the one arrives try at match the measurements
-
@Gavin666 my 293 and this shirt in the same size are almost the same width at the forearm but they both feel very comfortable in the forearm. I have had other iron heart shirts that are much more snug. I think it will be okay.

@catdad1 how similar is this to the 293? Is it visually fairly different? I have the 293 so im unsure whether im doubling up or whether its just different enough etc

@cyclops I have lived in the 293 on and off for the last year and a half. It's my favorite shirt and the fabric has really developed over the last couple of washes. I haven't worn this shirt more than a few minutes around the house but it's definitely a different shirt overall. Aside from being an overdyed black cpo, I don't know how similar they are. Softer handfeel, seems like it gives a little more than the vintage 18oz, and direct overdye than sulfur dye. In the selfedge jean thread I saw some report that this fabric has a good bit of give so that could be good if you need some stretch. I have some comparison photos of the two side by side somewhere in either this thread or the 293 thread. If I can figure out how to quote my own posts I will.

@catdad1 all good thanks! Haha im mentally justifying whether to make the purchase or not. I dont mind the shiney brass buttons against the OD either. So just contemplating...

So I know there have been quite a few sizing questions on this. Thought I would provide measurements for the xxxl I received today.
I usually fall into a xxl with the measurement I look for which are P2P of around 23.75-24 and a shoulder width of 19.5-20”. I also measured using IH UKs method.
Tag size: xxxl
Shoulders : 20.25”
Length: 30.25”
P2P: 24”
Waiste: 23.25”
Opening: 23.75”
Sleeve: 26.5”
Sleeve opening: 4.9”Overall this came in a hair smaller then what was listed on self edges site in general (mainly P2P) so it will be a hair tight to fit a layer underneath but I will make do. For the weather that I get in Texas, I usually do not need to really layer too often during the couple of months of cool weather.
Also, I am glad I went by listed measurements which told me to go with a xxxl instead of the usual xxl. Sizes can vary quite a bit between different orders/batches of product.
