IHSH-411-BLK - 9oz Selvedge Indigo Check Flannel Western Shirt - Black
-
Has anyone washed theirs yet??
-
@Ikeaparty I think I know why you’re asking this question after reading your post in the 777S-21 thread (those jeans look awesome btw)
But no I haven’t washed mine yet but if it behaves like the other 9 oz flannels it should not shrink much with careful washing cold/low agitation

Anyone have one of these shirts who can post some pics of how the shirt is developing/fading?
-
@Aresem The blues lightened up the indigo way. Can't get good shots until tomorrow because it's best in natural light.
I have worn it a lot. However I think I would grab it more often if it was a bit heavier. I'd say after a wash it feels like the weight of a thermal. And my SP-large shrunk a full size, but I don't mind since It was initially a bit too long to my taste.
The way these fade I think is cool and I hope they make something similar in the future too. -
@Northman Looking forward to seeing the evolution!
-
@Northman id also be curious to see it! i have one but dont get much wear on it
-

Might get a better idea under natural light. But you might see the indigo fade a bit here.
-
Wow - how many times have you washed that?
-
@Northman Thanks for uploading, looks good!
-
@will6er I don't remember. More than twice.
-
@sabergirl It’s a good one, my favorite 9oz

Im quite curious about washing mine to get a better fit, XL was a bit snug so i went XXL and its slightly too big, so havent gotten as much wear on it as id have liked, was curious how much color loss there would be but doesnt seem like much
-
I love this shirt. It’s just the perfect weight for the shoulder seasons here.
No evo on mine yet, but I kind of like it the way it looks right out of the bag

Hey Guys
I just picked on of these up in Kentaurus in Cologne, Germany while traveling. The only had one left and its size was "SP-Large". I've never seen that size before and I can't see it mentioned on any of the size charts. The lady in the store said it was "Super Large" and even bigger than an XXXXL. But to me it doesn't feel it. I'm usually between a large and XL, and while this is a fair bit bigger than what I'd usually wear, it doesn't feel, like 5 sizes bigger. The arms are considerably longer, and around the armpits there's way more space, but I would say across the chest etc, it doesn't seem as though it's 5 sizes bigger than what I'd usually wear. But who knows, maybe Christmas is catching up with me!
So, does anyone know what SP-Large means please!?
Thanks

@Ikeaparty I bought an extra large that I felt was just bit to big for my liking. I just washed it not long ago (definitely more hot than warm, but not super hot) and it shrunk to a perfect fit. It wasn't a lot, but it definitely shrunk a little.
