An Ironheart home repair kit with a few different denim & pocket patches and some IH threads would be useful

A sashiko kit would be interesting too to see some different repairs.

If I could make one change or idea for the IH product line I would make the 3 different snaps, especially the black ones and the white ones available or standard option on all Work shirts. Jealous of the availability on Westerns but not Work shirts. Most guys love the Western cut but for the short stalky guys the Work shirt is the way to go but the snaps are not offered on most products. Just something on my wish list.

I don't know how this would work, but I agree. Button holes stretch which has been an issue given how small IH buttons are in relation to the holes. I'd much prefer snaps on most work shirts.

We are investigating slightly larger buttons for work shirts.

Snaps can't be offered as an aftermarket pimp because the button holes won't allow a snap to be attached  We have to offer workshirts with buttons, because some people detest snaps, and we can't make 2 versions of the workshirts, we are simply not large enough to do that.

That’s just it: the smaller work shirt buttons tend to pop open for we westerners of more robust proportions. If the buttons are larger than the holes (as they are from most other designers) hopefully this problem will be minimized.

You don’t have to be large for the buttons to come undone in my experience. It can happen without being under tension. Of course it doesn’t help if they are under tension, but this has been just about my only issue with Iron Heart.

I do love snaps, and would love to see more of them on work shirts, but I fully support this move.

                          Think it, be it.

The move to bigger/tighter buttons on work shirts is a good one. I’ve had a couple instances of them partially unbuttoning while riding my bike as they flap with the wind.

                            The journey is the objective.

                                  .        That’s a kind of interesting idea.

If you do change the work shirt buttons, it might be worth looking at the thickness/profile too. I haven’t had a problem with unplanned unbuttoning but the current buttons seem to slip between my fingernails and the nail bed very easily!
