Just signed up for this- I'm on the XL-XXL divide (an XL forum tee fits me fine, for example), 36-38 in jeans, so thanks for setting this up

Never new this thread existed. When I discovered IH in 2019 they were already offering 4xl. Sad thing is that even 4xl is a bit tight on me. I have no issue with the bottoms. I am between 36 and 38 in 634 but the tops have been challenging.

I think we’re in a similar boat, although I don’t know your stats. I wear either a 36 or 38 waist, and at this point I’m mostly a 4XL guy, occasionally a 3XL depending on the cut, as long as the chest is 25 inches or bigger.

For the way I wear clothes, a white ribbed tank is about all I have underneath my shirts. I never wear a T-shirt under a shirt. Because of that, layering isn’t really a factor for me anyway. Honestly, the only thing I’ve been able to layer some what comfortably was an SP-L 178 CPO. I can’t put a 4XL under a 4XL, and even a 3XL under a 4XL isn’t going to work for me.

That said, I haven’t found a better fitting heavyweight shirt or CPO for my build and the way I like my clothes to fit. Whether that comes across in photos or not, I’m not sure, but I certainly like the fit, and at the end of the day that’s all that matters.

@northsouthdenimguy My actual chest measurement is 50. Although i have shirts with 25 p2p I cannot button the 1st 2 maybe 3 bottons. Realistically I need 26 to 26.5 inches p2p. And obviously all the sleeves are long but i deal with it. My best fitting piece is a 22oz type iii jacket I bought 6 years ago. Its the only type 3 I can button up and even wear a thermal under it. Layering with anything heavier that a tank top its a no go in all my UHF shirts. I am 5'11 and a half inches and 245 pounds. I can wear 36 but mostly 38 in 634. I need 14.2 inch thigh or they are too tight. Other cuts I can wear 38 in 888. The rest of the cuts have to be tag 40 or bigger to fit the legs but the top block gets sloppy. Nevertheless I enjoy them all regardless. And lately alot of the 4xl's get into the 26 inch p2p range so there is hope!
