What's your favourite wine?

Just received my latest tipple

-
@Giles you know where I am if you get thirsty.

Nice. I don’t know the producer, but Nebbiolo is one of my favorite grapes, and mature Barolo can be outstanding.
-

Not my favorite wine, but damn good. Paired very well with barbecued/very hot smoked salmon, creamed spinach and toasted sourdough bread. Rustic and very satisfying.
-
@endo Looks great.
-
Not my favorite, but good.

Went to an Australian wine tasting dinner tonight. All wines were great. Not a fan of the Para Grand Tawny.

not crazy about whites, but i picked up this 2012 grüner veltliner from a restaurant in salzburg that’s been around since 801 ad. brought it home to chicago and my wife and i opened it at a steakhouse in north center, a neighborhood not far from ours.
2012 was a good year for austrian wines from this region, and odds are this was one of the last bottles of this, if not the last. set me back about 300 euro, but went great with this steak and lobster dinner!

Stumbled across this white in a Madrid restaurant last week and loved it, notwithstanding my general avoidance of whites. Albariño is a grape I had not tried before. Galicia wine so look it up if you are ever in the San Sebastian area.
