I thought it would be a good idea to start this thread to see if people could share travel arrangements to and from (I guess, mainly) London Heathrow.

If you need to get to and from Gosport from one of the London airports, why don't you put your details in here and see if you can hook up with other travellers.

I'll put it out there. will be driving.

I touchdown in London on Thursday the 8th. Will leave for gosport about 1ish that day I reckon.

Will leave on 13th and dropping by Heathrow to drop Johnny (OGL) off before I continue with my travels across the channel..

I don't know that I'll be of convenience to anyone. But, I'll post for reference…..

LHR T5 1100 arrival on the 7th
Railair RA2 Bus / T5 to Woking / 1321 arrival
Southwestern Railway / Woking to Portsmouth / 1355 - 1457 arrival
Volt-Age EV Hire / Portsmouth to Gosport / 1600 arrival (approx)

Return trip is in reverse, departing Gosport 0930 - 1000 on the 13th

I arrive 730AM morning of the 9th. I am looking into the bus train deal probably. @scooter  , which web site did you book the bus train through. It keeps directing me to a Rome2Rio agency. Thanks. Sam

@ROman , I booked them separately. There is quite the markup though secondary sites.

The bus ticket is open for any departure time on the date purchased for. You want the RA2 bus here…

The train ticket, I purchased as a "chosen train only" ticket. First Class for less than 9 quid. Get that here…

@ROman , as a note, the RA2 route stops at Woking on it's way to Guildford. The train can be caught in Guildford, as well. The price is the same. But, I chose to get off in Woking for better seat choice, and more train/less bus travel…

I think our flight gets in to Heathrow on that Friday morning around like 10am. The. we have to wait for baggage and rental car and such.

Still can't believe I got a direct flight from Nashville, TN to Heathrow. I live like 12 mins from the airport in Nashville. It's amazing.

I don’t think I’ll be any hep to anyone.  We’re getting into Gatwick on Wed morning and taking the train to the ferry. Unless we missed something it seems pretty straightforward.  The real question is when shall I be welcome at HQ?

I'm currently planning on coming down on the Friday. I'm going to visit my sister in Bradford on Avon, then catch a train to Southampton, and a connection though to Gosport.

Probably of no use to anyone travelling internationally, but I am coming down on the Saturday morning [[b]removed now that no longer needed].

I'll be heading back the same way on the Sunday after the brunch.

Hit me up if you are along that route and we can try to work something out.

I can't promise I will be an entertaining conversationalist, but there will be hard rock and/or heavy metal playing.

I will (should  ::)) be at LHR T5 on Thursday the 8th at 1300 and have someone bringing me down to Gosport. Back to LHR on Sunday to be collected in Gosport 0630.

Hope there will be already someone else around on Thursday to have dinner together? I otherwise will have to see what @Giles got in the fridge

Arriving Heathrow on the 9th around 2pm, then bus/train to Portsmouth Harbour (same Routing  as @scooter). Should arrive in Gosport around 6pm, then quick baggage drop off in the hotel and off to the brewery.

Hey Jett - we tried that before and it was quite unsuccessful. Not to say that we can't try again, but it's quite hard to capture the event well whilst its all spread out around multiple buildings and gardens.
