I've been wearing mine for the last couple days — they're definitely pretty damn hot but not unbearable, even in the Texas heat. Maybe I have a high tolerance or something, but tbh I don't spend much time walking around outside right now, regardless of what kind of pants I've got on.

They're definitely getting more comfortable. Crispiness is still there, but fading. I'll continue to report from the air conditioning

Picked up a pair in 34 as the 33 was sold out. I have 1 pair of XHS 555 pictured in 33, and 1 pair XHSib in 34. The 634's feel baggy and I am not sure if it is just because of the cut or is it the size. I soaked for 1 hour then washed as per the instructions. They seem really baggy, the waist is a bit loose but can use a belt. Would love your thoughts on this one. I am concerned they will stretch out even more. I can hit them again with super hot water not sure what else to do to get a bit more shrink? Any ideas to shrink them a bit more would be helpful.

They don’t really look overly baggy to me. I sized up purposely to get a looser fit on these beasts.  I’d say hit them with the hottest water soak you can get with much agitation and you may get some more shrink.

Yep that's 634… they are more roomy, wouldn't say they look baggy on you

555, 634 are 2 different fits

634 Looks normal to me as they should me.

I think that 634 is the better fit of the two. Blasphemous to some, but do a hot machine wash, and then tumble dry to get more shrink if you want. Just make sure they’re inside out, and soaked through before the wash cycle. Probably should avoid the spin cycle, as well, though I’ve never bothered.

I didn’t necessarily mean better ALWAYS. Just this particular fit.

However, I can’t fit into a 555 very well, so for me 634 is where it’s at.

Agreed the 634 looks better. You're probably used to denim fitting tighter so it looks off, but you might find that having a less tight pair in the rotation is a comfortable option.
