The new format looks much cleaner and I’m sure I’ll love it once I’ve acclimatised.

One thing I can’t find - is it still possible to see who’s signed in at a given moment?

Yesterday I noticed something.

Internet connection is connecting

Due to a loss connection.

Was in orange writing

Is that normal, or because its was launch at the time

@Kasi yeah mate, yesterday we had an issue with the servers trying to communicate with eachother, we have a fix in place and the forum has been performing as expected for the last 18 hours or so

1. where do I see all threats?

They’re all around you.

@ARNC if you look at the upper right of a persons post you’ll see a little dot. In your profile you can set your status (eg green is online). Im not sure if there’s a way for it to auto set but you can manually set it from there. If it doesn’t auto set then it’s up to the users discretion how they’d like to be seen. I think. ‍️

Love the look of the new forum. Is there an app for our mobiles or just dial up the website ?

@AdamJ Is there a way to “swipe away” bread posts as you’re going through them if you aren’t interested? As far as I can see I have to either open each one to clear them individually or mark all of them as read.

@deanclean no dedicated app, but you can add to your homescreen for easy access. I explain in more detail here

@Matt if you hover over the avatar of the poster, you can click on it. This will then 'tick it' you can then mark all your selected topics as READ in bulk and leave the remaining ones you'd like to read.

New forum is beautiful and so far working well for me. I do miss Recent posts showing previews of the posts themselves though instead of having to click in to them. Only mentioned because that was the main way I read the site.

@Matt thanks, but I was thinking more about the list we had on the old forum showing everyone who was currently logged in, rather than whether any one person was active. Maybe it’s no longer useful if we don’t get kicked out after an hour!

@Matt @ARNC would something like this work? I can't replicate the same inline list as of old, but could look at having a sidebar with who's online?

@AdamJ I might be the only one who liked the old feature and it might not provide useful info if people now stay logged in. Probably not a priority!

The way I used the old forum was to log on and find all the "title topics" colored red and go through in order of however i felt necessary until i've read through all posts i wanted to. Not having them colored red on the homepage makes me feel like i lost my only navigational tool that kept my scatterbrain in line with topics I've clicked on vs topics i haven't. I vote to have that return
