Do these work as PJs or are they still a touch “outdoorsy” to wear in bed?

Wouldn’t be my first choice but yes, you could wear them to bed.

I think they’re similar to other regular weight elastic waist shorts.  I don’t know that these would be considered “heavy” or “over engineered” like other IH items and they don’t really need any fading or break in so if you sleep in “normal” cotton shorts that’s fine.  If you sleep in light and breathable pajamas I’d say no.

Got myself a pair of these to lounge around the house but they're so awesome I'm definitely also going to be lounging around town in them. These are a real winner from IH!
