@jat These were hemmed to 28.5" and the hem opening is 8.2" at at that distance down the inseam on this pair, hope that helps

I just have mine rerouted to a UPS drop off so she never sees it.  This time of year is easy because I put everything on my secret credit card so “she doesn’t know where her Xmas presents are coming from.”  Then I just pay the card off slowly along with all the other Xmas expenses and she’s none the wiser.
