I didn’t, but I was thinking of you yesterday when my neighbors at the campsite were talking about fishing for bluefin. They’re running nearby right now. I saw a guy on the PCH getting his surf caster rod ready, but as I understand it’s mostly perch and flounder that’s available from the shore.

I haven’t been posting much because I’ve been staying with friends and family in the Bay Area for several days. Getting back on track today as I continue my journey north. It’s raining a lot so my camping will be interesting tonight!

I saw Joe Russo’s Almost Dead last night at the Frost Amphitheater at Stanford University which was amazing!

I think I’m a little south of the storm for now. Thanks for checking in! Staying in the Eureka area tonight and I have a cabin, so that makes things a little easier. Roads were a little crazy yesterday. Saw (and had to drive through) a couple of minor rock slides on the PCH yesterday. Heavy wind and rain made driving slow, but I got to my campsite safely.

I stayed in this cabin last night. It’s on someone’s private land tucked away in a little alder grove.

@seawolf JRAD is RAD. Best Dead act in the game IMO, and one of my favorite touring bands right now. Love how fluidly they explore the music and beyond. They just announced they’re finally coming back to Colorado after postponing and ultimately canceling their return to Red Rocks.

I wanna live in that cabin…

Just stopped a dude outside of Pike Place in Seattle to ask him if he was wearing an iron heart UHF. He was! Spotted in the wild! It was poking out from underneath a type 1 (I think) denim jacket.

Here’s a shot from the ferry as I came into Seattle this morning.
