I almost grabbed one after a couple drinks. I already have a waxed Wills, so I was able to hold off. I’m saving for some of the IH F/W releases

Curious how everyone sized theirs…based on the charts I went medium as they seem to fall in line with where I like my jackets to fit. Not sure if anyone with more SJ experience finds their sizing to coincide with Iron Heart sizing.
I’m a size large almost always in IH.

2XL just like in the Ramblin. I expect with the additional length and room I could wear my longer shirts under the wills whereas the Ramblin works better with a t-shirt or a sweater under.
TFW many of your shirts are SP-Large and therefore unwearable with any shorter jackets due to their length.

Don't want to interrupt the wills talk but as advised by @hgering27 (thanks brother) I gave my sashiko townes a hot soak and a medium to hot wash with low spin setting and while there are no major changes I feel that it tightened up just a bit, sleeves look a little less bulky and shoulders feel better. But still need that hemming, my tailor is on holidays and I will send her the shirt next month

Man, this broken twill denim Ramblin quickly became my favorite jacket! And I’m so glad I had courage to size down! My regular SJ size is Large. And this fits very spot on like my waxed Ramblin in large.

@Mizmazzle I’m also a large in Iron Heart and went with a medium in the denim Wills. I have a Decade Wills in a medium and it fits perfectly with a little room to layer. So I think you definitely got the right size!

@mecken88 great fit man! I sized my new denim wills order based as my the ramblin, I figured out it ls unlined and would like to fit a little trimmed .

@myk1098 thank you, I’m very happy with the fit too. Snug enough for a tshirt fit. But I can also wear a thin hoodie or like a denim shirt comfortably too yeah I bet it’s gonna be great! Looking forward seeing how the Wills fits on people here

The jacket has been a real treat. Instant favorite. And pushing my comfort zone with wearing the hat more frequently have been a fun challenge to make it feel slightly more natural🫶

Hot take here, or maybe not so hot, but I truly think Ship John proportionally looks best in that mid-size range, from Medium to Large, maybe XL in some cases. Of course, it depends on someone’s build, but as far as I’m concerned, it doesn’t get any better than this fit right here…Looks killer.
