I’ve never been so consumed by something so frustrating. I spent each Sunday both devouring and hating each episode. I loved it.

I tried Twin Peaks after hearing a few of you saying how much you loved it.

Nah, did not resonate one little bit. I think maybe, it was of its time. I did not do Star Wars when it/they was/were originally released. When I met Paula who loved it, she "made" me watch it. Fuck, it was dated crap. Lasted about 30 mins, and then never again.

I struggled with Breaking Bad, but did last a few eps, then gave up.

Not to give up my mission to find something seminal that I had missed when originally released, I watched The Sopranos a couple of years ago, and loved it. But never made it to the end.

        Go figure.....

I was a big fan of Twin Peaks back then. But that was 1991. I still love it but I guess that's a bit nostalgic...

I think nostalgia is the key word. Paula absolutely loved Star Wars, and did not mind the pathetically shonky special effects, because they weren't pathetic or shonky in 1977. in 1998ish, they were a joke, and I could not take anything about the movie seriously....

I was actually new to twin peaks a few weeks ago and I instantly fell in love with the first season. I love awkwardness. However, the second season let me down very hard after episode six.

There's no connection to Twin Peaks here and it's a really random observation, but I guess that's what this threat is about: I just realised that both my Seiko SKX are more than twenty years old. They've never had a service but they still run with the same +15sek/day . That's some seriously good watchmaking!

Mad Men is great. Slow brooding but so good.

I recently rewatched all of Twin Peaks. The lot of it, with my kid. She absolutely loved it - even if at times it's dark as hell and also peak Lynch in terms of the abstract nature of The Return. It's not a tv show I would recommend to most people because of how offbeat it is.

                                            We're going through the classics.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer, The Walking Dead and all spin-offs, Lost all done. Currently working our way through Dexter. Lots more to get through (Line of Duty, Sherlock, From).

We are HUGE Mike Flanagan fans too. So we've done The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass and The Fall of the House of Usher.

We have also watched Silo, Severance, Pluribus and have started Windows Bay.

Got the new Cape Fear reboot locked and loaded.
