Tropical storm near puerto Vallarta this week. But We’re loving it and so much exploring, fun stuff in just our first full day. Thr Locals are really chill, my wife can speak enough Spanish to get by and we’re happy not in “high end resort part of town” we wanna experience the culture here . In great area called zona de romantica, guess got name from elizabteths Taylor’s old mansion, and walk way built to her husbands mansion across st. few other celebrities built mansions here back then, and think all hotels now. Thr hotel we staying at is super cool,, our room is beautiful, great views, big, double balcony’s , guess tech
3? 3rd one just can stand out but no chairs and stuff. Anyway we got caught in a big rain, The streets turned into river, no way around jus threw lol. Snapped scene shot of video my wife took. -

@meatmarketdenim1 looks like a great time. We went often about 20 years ago (before kids) and stayed at Playa Los Arcos many times. I always loved the authentic feel of Puerto Vallarta and would love to go back. I remember all those celebrity mansions too and the Malecón. Have fun!
Edit to add I first went deep sea fishing there and caught my first red snapper. The hotel cooked it for us that night by the beach…great experience
