Im a commercial fishermen specifically king and coho salmon power troller here in southeast Alaska i also am a longliner and seiner for halibut , black cod , and a variety of salmon. Ive since sold my fishing vessel as the job is to taxing on my shoulders and neck in which ive had surgery on. So now i work in the customer service buisness here in Alaska.

This nice shrit came in the post today. Fits like a shrit no layering on this one a bit tight in the armpits but i think it should relax a bit and be good.

These 777's are super comfortable feel like there starting to break good

First pair of iron hearts. Am i right to think these jeans are supposed to fit pretty low on your hip. I got the 34 and had them hemmed to 31. Im actually a 33 waist I believe but these are supposed to shrink an inch after a hot soak right. On the website it said these jeans would be a 33 waist but I think there a 34 mind you i havent got a tape handy though. I do like them anyway thanks for this great site im pretty new to selvedge!

@goosehd ok wanted to tell you that i soaked the 777's in a reasonably hot tank of water for exactly 1 hour and they basically transformed to basically the best fitting pair of jeans that i can remember as of late. They shrank in all the right places interestingly not much in the waist but there great!

I just ordered my 1st iron heart shrit the 18oz vintage indigo in medium. It was the last one where i bought it from ! I also orded a 21oz type 3 in medium as well. Black friday sales got me. I figured this is the best 1st iron heart shrit i could do and ive seen awsome fades with this shrit on the internet so i went for it ! Im just hoping medium was the right call because im between medium and large.

Well i cant believe how soft and pliable these are straight out of the box. I can only compare them to the 25oz indigo 777 and i got those yesterday and these today lol. These are 34 tag just like my 777 but they fit much better although i havent soaked my 25oz yet. The funny part are these jeans according to the website i bought them from were supposed to be a true 34 and according to the website i bought the 777 were supposed to be a 33. But i think these are closer to a 33 i didnt want to go down in size because in each case the jeans supposedly went down to a 32 if i were have gotten the 33 tag not sure bout how they come to those numbers because i believe they must vary from pair to pair i kinda wish i went with the 33 tag on the 25oz 777 but with the soak i hope to shrink them a toch and thats all i need. These 666 fit perfectly there broken-in already minus the fades i hope to achieve ya 66621ozsbg are awesome

@meatmarketdenim1 ya im going to wear it like a uniform. As long as it fits keeping my fingers crossed on that aspect. Do you wear yours often as a jacket or a shrit im hoping both fit so i can wear both together. Hows yours fit ?

I found this forum after i had ordered my couple pairs of jeans maybe i wouldve done my measurements correctly the "iron heart" way but you live and learn. My pair off 777 still look great they just dont look like the best pair of jeans that i ever owned but the 666s do lol. Whats your strategy when it comes time to wash the sbgs ? Are you the kinda guy who will wait 6 months or will you wash when needed how will you do it?

Love the steel pulse reggae shrit i used to listen to them back in the day. Im waiting on my shrit patiently hopefully have it before Christmas ordered it from self edge during there black friday sale looks good on you.

Its crazy how quickly those jeans went i checked the website a minute ago and most sizes were gone

I really like the way the 25oz fabric kinda molds to the body. Wear I live being a rainforest it rains often so my jeans get lightly wet here and there and i think its been helping the jeans conture to my legs. Pretty cool i wonder does this happen to other jean weights.
