Oh man. I get mine Monday and I WANT IT TO BE MONDAY RN!!

My purple drama is clearing customs this morning. Hoping it doesn’t run its mouth and get itself into any trouble before finding its new home

-
Woooo - hoooo

-
Andrea’s first piece of Iron Heart.
. I’d say she’s pretty darn happy
.Special thanks to @Vik for your guidance with sizing. It fits perfectly!!!

-
@Brandrea congrats, it looks awesome on her! So jealous!! I want to get my wife an XS OD SLB type 3 and she said if I do, she’ll deliberately not wear it.

-
@Brandrea
big mistake , at least for your wallet
definitely not the last piece from Iron Heart for her , I know what I’am talking about.
looks awesome
-
@Chibs Thank you, she’s thrilled!
I think you should go ahead and buy it for her … if things don’t work out, Andrea will gladly accept, and we have room in the house for you (and the pooch)

-
@Daniel-San
you’re probably right … I caught her looking through the look book just now
-
@Giles i have a random question. I got both the purple western and the sax blue work shirt. The purple western fabric feels much “stiffer” and more substantial. Even the weight of the shirt is higher, presumably the snaps add some weight. They’re both similar but there is a that noted difference in the heft of each fabric side by side
Does fabric like this vary across color runs, like do certain bolts of fabric have variation? I’m assuming there is a weight tolerance at the mill. Just curious!
-
@Brandrea bahahhaha Thanks for the offer

-
@deathbydenim Yes, fabrics differ in weight depending upon the colour of the dye, what the atmospheric conditions in the mill on the day of the weave were, and which actual loom did the weaving.
Also, in a western, there is way more farbic used because of the yokes (which are double thickness) and the pocket flaps....
-
That makes perfect sense, thanks for sharing!
-
@Brandrea this is awesome!
this stuff just makes people feel great. hard to explain. no need to explain really. bravo etc etc -
@deathbydenim my purple western from a while back is noticeably stiffer than other colours. must be the colour!
